	September 09 We are very proud to introduce our new range of Gunnebo GL shackles manufactured in accordance with, not only the EN and Federal specification standards but also type approved to DNV 2.7.1. 	August 09 Gunnebo Industries have secured an important Distributorship Agreement with leading mechanical services company, Enermech Limited, of Aberdeen. Within the deal Enermech will have preferred distribution status for all Gunnebo’s lifting products into the oil and gas industry working in the U.K. continental shelf area. Enermech has emerged as a leading player in the cranes and heavy lifting market and provides specialist services in the operation, inspection and maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment in addition to design, engineering and management of onshore and offshore crane projects. Enermech’s Operations Director, Phil Bentley said “This Agreement will boost our turnover by several million pounds each year and will give us access to top quality equipment which is approved by all the major operators and contractors. It adds value to our lifting operations and is part of our growth strategy which matches first class products and service with an unwaivering approach to maintaining health and safety standards. Enermech have also recruited Martin Dunbar from Cosalt where he was Client Operations Manager. 	May 08 We have now launched our new range of Liftiq electric chain hoists and stock has arrived in Redditch for immediate despatch to Gunnebo Lifting dealers. These compact but rugged hoists are available in heights of lift up to 120 metres and are manufactured in Switzerland. Our range includes hook or eye suspension units and hoists built into manual or electric trolleys. Capacities up to 2 tonne are available from stock and larger capacities are possible on a short leadtime. Our stock includes hoists for 3-phase, 230 volt and 110 volt supplies. Other options such as IP65, and ATEX configurations, alternative speeds, ultra low headroom hoists and remote control or synchronised lifting units are available also on a short leadtime. 	April 08 Our new range of Johnson snatch and manriding blocks has now arrived in the UK. These are manufactured in the Gunnebo Industries-owned Johnson plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma and are available in shackle or hook type head fittings. 	June 07 We have this week taken delivery of the latest addition to our production equipment, a 1000 tonne Unisplice wire rope press which now gives us the ability to press wire ropes up to and including 64mm in diameter (previously our maximum capacity was 52mm diameter). 	March 07 This month we have launched our brand new "TS" lever hoist range. Designed with the offshore industry in mind, it has many features that lend themselves to the harsh conditions encountered in "topside" offshore applications, including a much lower light load limit and corrosion protected internal components. The unit has undergone strenuous testing and has been found to offer vastly improved performance and greater longevity in such applications. Available in 750kg, 1.5 tonnes, 3 tonnes and 6 tonnes derivatives, this range is also suitable for other environments such as use in damp conditions and by water authorities etc.
	January 07 During the first week of January, Gunnebo Industries have been awarded a contract for the supply of 2 off 45 tonne capacity subsea cargo nets with a value of £60,000. These will be commissioned during the 2nd quarter of 2007.
	November 06 Following several key technical developments over the last few months, Gunnebo Liftiq chain blocks are now specified by Shell Oil Sigma 3. We are confident of similar approvals and specification by a number of other major oil companies throughout 2007.
	August 06 Announcing the launch of our new Flexileg Grade 10 modular chain system with which 4 pieces can do the work of 38 components and 5 legs do the work of 4 complete slings with a combined 10 legs. Easily interchangeable using our patented "Quickpin". This will be available exclusively through our Platinum dealer network.
